my comp is dying...not as in attacked by viruses kind of dying but it's old kind of dying...zZZ...
all the time & $$ spent on it & it's going to jus wither away.

my new lappy is coming but i dunno when..it seems 2 b taking eons!haiX.

attended both philo & jap tut ytd...
philO tut was oOkie i guess, not exactly boring but it's filled with more and more questions..
come to think it, we still haven solved anything lOlx..
and poOr jianwei had no head/ tail abt this...she mus be thinking toO much abt answers..
think! about questions instead...how odd 2 b saying this.

i tot i was at the wrong place for jap tut..
it was a long corridor with endless number of roOms~
when i finally found it, the whole class was already there with the teacher in it..
luckily Ichi-sensei didn't mind & in fact he's rather cute (in terms of character).

he would make awkward comments (with his accent it sounds awkward) & we'll luff..
then there was this time when he asked this group 2 present their answer; some girl whispered & he walked to them & whispered back lOlx..
and he would walk around and go "Mmm..." after each group presented their answer..hahah...

then he mentioned he's bad at pronunciation soO when he was reading out our names...he came to this:
"Pang?"
Silence.
"Er... i think it's Pang because it said Pang" *gives a chuckle*

reminds me of the time when jianwei made a comment like "They said bye-bye so i think it's bye-bye." How informative lOlx~

lOlx..today is the 1st time i dozed off during lecture..
hey! it wasn't tt the lecturer is boring hhaa but i jus cannOt stand it; really dunno why..
guess it's cOs i reached skoO at 9am to hear the 'nuts & bolts' lect fOr philO on how 2 write a philo essay...then nuttin until 2pm for the actual philO lect..gOsh the wait is sO long!

haha but in between we occupied ourselves with si xiang & nadya's prezzie~
got a purple file & purple stationery for him cOs tt's his fave colour..gOsh ahha.
and becOs when u open the file, the 3 folders will slip down soO we took opportunity of the space & wrote our birthdays there in chronological order; hOw very thoughtful!

jianwei got soO far until she start taking our diaries & writing her burfdae down..it was even labelled as one of the holidays lOlx..soO i did the same~
toO bad he carn do tt cOs it's toO late lOlx.

but of course we wouldn;'t mess with nadya's present; that's sO mean. ahahah...

had yong tau foO laksa for lunch..that's the 2nd time! Haha it really is the best stall in arts canteen cOs the gravy is really rich ,the noodles are springy & succulent and the ingredients were fresh toO~ You can get it at $1.90 for 6 items +laksa gravy+ choice of noodles..just that the portion is nOt big.

saw qian fu after that & i dunno why i gO & wave at him..apparently he wouldn't be able to recognise us but i did it & i felt embarrassed. he was giving that blank loOk but smiled & waved anyway lOlx..he mus b thinking, "huh? whose this random girl?" haha..

anyways, philo lecture wasn't boring at all; i like prof holbo's voice...it's like those u hear on advertisements~and he's crap & becOs it's philosophy, everything sounds funny & ridiculous~
he ended on the note that didn't provide any answer to the question that's posed all along: What is considered holy? haha anyways ratings for philo: 6.5/10

which leaves quite a number of hwk cOs tutorial starts next week; real skoO kicks in..
i realise i have 3 fortnightly tutorials..woOTs! for philo, dey don require us to come every week; jus alternate weeks 1hr/week is fine~

haha..sociOlogy turns out 2 b the mOst fun lect of the weEk..
let's see whether philO can beat that (it was the best last week)..
we learn abt culture & socialization & along the lines, the prOf was going out of pt soO it wasn't really dry..haha..like he couldn't understand why some malay food are malay..

for eg:
mee rebus. mee= noodles in chi, rebus= boiled in malay & it's a malay dish ahha..
mee siam. mee= noodles in chi, siam= thai & it's a malay dish lOlx..

mee goreng. mee= noodles chi, goreng= fried in malay & it's an indian dish lOlx..

anyways jap lect was boring but the content wasn't tt bad..it was the lecturer who goes on in a monotonous tone but we watched a really funny wedding videO clip..

south asian was speeding up soO fast that i only grasp like 30% of wad she's toking? lOlx...

and si xiang highlighted & curled his hair..OMG! haha..nO biggie actually but i don hav any guy friends whO would willingly curl their hair..anyways it's jus the back part of the head lOlx cOs apparently his hair is toO str8 soO he wants some natural wave...haiX..i want str8 hair!!!

my timetable is almost done! gOt almost all my tutorial slots except for philO which means i hav 2 wake up super early on mon sighXx..
sOo i'll b really tired 2 dO anything else at nite i guess haha but tues is rest day!

all the slots i am left wif were rather shitty; it's either 9am/ 10am/ tues soO if jian wei didn't get into the same tut as me, i'll cry!!!!
soO jian wei, u shld read up more on CORS about tutorial allocation lOlx.

then there's the eng lit tut that have 2 settle cOs shawn wants nadya & i to change tO thurs..
soO nOw we have 2 wait till we're able to swap/ add a tut..and if tt happens, i'll only need 2 come for 2 hrs on wed! nOt that bad a thing if monday's the shitty day & i have 1 & 1/2 days tO reccuperate from exhaustion lOlx~

thurs's yet the other shitty day whereby it ends at 8! arghX.
but due to the odd week tut i have on fri morning, i guess i can lie on the bed until 11am on even weeks..maybe nOt sO bad haha.

heard that pple didn't get the module dey want, nOW dey carn get the tut slots dey want either..
i mus be pretty lucky~


had eng lit lect on mon..
then we're toking abt some poem by william wordsworth whereby the lecturer's rough interpretation was that this guy was riding his horse 2 meet his lover, lucy at her cottage at night & along the way, the image of the moOn was described in the poem from descending to sinking to bright moon dropped & from there she concluded that guy had this foreboding feeling abt lucy becOs he was staring at the moOn for toO long (it was smth like that haha)..moon= luna which oso sounds like lucy~

then we hav pple saying the man was crazy cOs luna= lunatic & there was this part where it was written he had 'wayward thoughts' & there're 'strange fits of passion' when he tot of his lover..haha..then there's this guy whO was soO immersed in the poem that he tot the guy thinks of lucy as a baby (delicate & vulnerable) cOs 'lucy's cot' was mentioned...

haha & my lecturer said it was highly impossible unless the guy's a paedophile lOlx~!

then we were shown a poem written by William Carlos Williams (name is odd 2 begin with) which was his best work, The Red Wheel Barrow:

It's famous cOs the poem resembles a wheel barrow, hence making it a visual image instead.. haha soO i guess that was the beauty & brilliance of his best poem~

attended all lects except philOsOphy...
hahaa..had my 1st real lecture (south asian) cOs the rest of the lect this week are jus intrOduction..
sad tt won't get 2 learn jap linguistics cOs the lecturer is on long term MC soO dey replaced wif consumer culture boOhoO.

quite used 2 walking up & down le..esp when the arts canteen is sO far hahaha..
and kinda nOe wad bus 2 take to wad place/ faculty yay!

she almost wanted 2 kill me cOs she has a geog lect at 4pm & it was 3.40pm when she reached the central lib 2 meet me lOlx...
still as rough & loud as ever hahaha...
but gOt a few tips frm her as to wad i can take next sem =P

anyways south asian is the latest lect soO it ends at before 8pm & i was starving..
ate & tok..soO reached home around 10.35pm OMG.
BK stuff are still ex even wif discount..soO i carn get 2 eat tt every now & then le..
at least mac's more affordable~

cOs dey're saying si xiang's hair makes him loOk like a girl & leo wOre a shirt labeled slutty today lOlx...oh oh and there's oso a new area of study called aloysiology - that is if u practise the art of bhb-ing in front of others lOlx..

soO practise more often & Mr Arts himself might jus award you the BA in Aloysiology haha.
you may wanna do a thesis for ur honours program & it may jus include how BHB can help you excel in life~ OMG. this is toO much crap haha...

anyways, skoO officially starts ytd (odd #1: it's in early august)
i reached skoO at 3+ (odd #2: skoO usually starts at 7.30am) & went to the newly renovated arts canteen..didn't get to try the foOd yet..
& alOysius was saying hOw the sci students were soO stunned to see him when he entered the lt (in other words, dey're mesmerized by his loOks...hahaha) & that he had the brains tO gO with it..oh puh-leeze lOlx..

eng lit lect starts at 4pm (odd #3: it's right beside the canteen!) then dey gave us an overview of wad we're going to learn this sem(that includes the nO. of boOks u've to consider buying & reading).. guess it's 1 novel, 1 play, 1 set of poems & 1 shakespearean work(did i spell it correctly?)..
i've never studied his work befOre soO i'm afraid i'm lacking in that...& then she showed us a video of a collection of poems by Wordsworth & Coleridge (or it was smth along that line)..
(odd #4: how dO u show a video on poems?)...it seems the pple acted it out & dey try to fit all the famous poems written by them into a story..hahahaah...

and yes it was dumb.
Everyone was laughing cOs the actors were conversing in poetry soO it's rather awkward & the backdrop was always sOme waterfall/grassland/ open sea...omg..hahaha.

and after that i went home.
END OF SCHOOL!! <--- odd #5 hahaha...

and today? It's nt my skoO day<--- odd #6..yipEE~

yeaps..uni life is different from the skoO life we used tO have..hmMM..
1st being the distance you have to walk to get tO the place..ack.
only 1 lect & 1 tut per sub per week & we get to arrange how we spend our day (that is if u minus the bidding & balloting part)..
still the workload would b jus as much if nOt more & i have to more active in class participation~

had a million sponsOr talks & then a fright nite on monday...
the fright nite was supposedly scary & the ghosts actually did a goOd jOb but the 3 of us (me, si xiang & jade) didn't scream at all.
I'm the one tt's the most frightened lOlx but thanks to them, i wasn;t hahaha..
think there're 2 ghosts who did a goOd job..ie one tt crawl down frm the cubicle wall and the other crawling on the ground...
the sounds they make were kinda bloOdthirsty creepy toO..
and stupid si xiang; he kept burping soO the ghosts were rather annoyed & kept telling us 2 get out hahaha..and b4 that he was singing the phantom of the opera~

another guy fren, aloysius was getting more and more bhb haha..
he started by saying he wanna appeal 2 b Mr Arts then he even pull my other fren dOwn..hahaha..when our asst. ogl announced to our house, he kept pretending shawn was aloysius and kept saying "eh..aloysius gO lar..don't be shy lar" poOr shawn & the whole og was luffing haha..

went tO sentOsa today for beach & water games..
quite a tiring day cOs we ended at 8+ zZZz..
we played a total of 11 games & becOs of that i gOt sOre thrOat..boOhoO...
which spoils my moOd for dinner...then dey kept singing national day sOngs hahah..our cheer even included that:

and to end it off, we had 2 dance thru 10 mambO songs OMG! hahaha cOs the nus mambO king was here...
and we even get extra credits(we called it yOhOs) if u dump sO & sO in the water haha..
and more yOhOs frm the station ic if u dun dump him haha...

oh man mus gO sleep le..

wooOhoO have been busy this week~
attended matriculation fair on mon soO i can be official!
then had orientation talks on tues & wed...
NUS has this CORS bidding system for u to bidfor modules that u wanna take this semester since we haven't declare a majOr yet~
consists of exposure modules(modules in ur faculty), general electives & singapore studies!
the optimum amt is to take a total of 5 of these modules.

we toOk time to bid during orientation on thurs & fri..
soO it was successful fOr me! I have jap studies, sociology & lit as exposures. I wanna try out psychology but due to the very popular demand, i gave up on it fOr this sem becOs demand for jap & socio was oso popular soO i dun enough points to play with~

Orientation day camp was really fun soO far!
we had house & og cheers, making of mascots, sports games, night games, station games, mambO jumbO & the foOd hunt as well as project photoshoOt!
the night games one was stupid cOs everyone have to mambO at the last part & we ended up dancing in the carpark dOTs...lOlx.
we also have games among our OG that always like tO sabO pple & of violence...and oso games that make u think very hard then when u get it, it actually stupid logic/ nO logic at all~hahahs..

i like the photoshoOt 1 as well!!
haha we have to take photos in skoO compound: a day at sentOsa beach, doing sexy pOSe in opposite sex toilet, merliOn (spitting water out of mouth haha), CSI, titanic scene etc etc.
and i have house i/cs who have fetish for dancing like an ah kua..*dancing queen & barbie girl*
as well as other houses who have cheers that don make sense as well as thOSe who have RA ratings lOlx~!

haha nOt bad nOt bad...luckily gOt sign up fOr it!
If nOt life would be very bOring~
haha becOs of this, i'm really tired cOs we stayed overnite at admin & played games till 3+.
